Framing life as an at times joyful, at times cruel continuum, the arching perspective of this series of poems culminates in taking you through centuries of human height and tragedy, all driven by the matching and mismatching of unchanging universal law with the ranging desires of mortal free will.

Reading it took me on an emotional journey of past and present thru the writing of this brilliant writer.
The author's poetry is remarkable, conveying elements like tone and patterns that engage readers in discovering the meaning and the story behind each poem.
Great Read! Highly Recommend
A quality string of poetry, written in an in depth and cohesive timeline
As always my respect to Giovanny. Great book I bought the book a week ago and I sat down and got in to it, this book is truly an adventure to read you get a little bit of everything it takes you through time from Caesar to ship captain. The captain xxviii is one of my favorite parts of the book, it explains the life of a sailor, the misery of the ocean and how lonely and vicious it could be. “This buoyant life of mine hath become unanchored again, being wheeled by waves from vast oceans to isolated seas”. I highly recommend this book.
